Cutting Edge Formulations, Inc. (CEF) was founded in 2003 to develop, manufacture and market environmentally friendly herbicides and related products. The mission of Cutting Edge Formulations is derived from the business experience of Joe Jankauskas, at the time the CEO of a multi-million dollar lawn-care service company in the Atlanta, GA, area. Concerned about the potentially poisonous effects of synthetic herbicides on children, pets and the environment, Mr. Jankauskas began formulating an herbicide from natural ingredients. His research culminated in the development of Nature's Avenger Organic Weed Killer.

Nature’s Avenger Organic has been field-tested in university and third-party settings and was found to be a highly effective weed killer when tested against the leading synthetic herbicide, glysophate (example: Roundup®) and other "natural" herbicides, such as Burnout II, on the market. Nature’s Avenger has been in the Consumer and Professional Markets since March 2006.

Cutting Edge Formulations, Inc. was founded and developed as the solution to environmental and pollution worries. We began looking for ways to protect our earth while eliminating the weeds in businesses and homes. We teamed with scientists, researchers, doctors, and environmentalists to bring Nature’s Avenger Organic Weed Killer to the fore front of the herbicide industry.

We take our stewardship of environment seriously. We know other companies may make similar promises, but our company was founded on the basic principal of helping to protect the environment. Nature’s Avenger Organic Weed Killer is a fast acting, effective product, with no negative side effects to the Earth’s soil, water supply, animals, or people. In October of 2009, the EPA changed product name regulations for pesticides and Cutting Edge Formulations, in compliance with the new EPA name regulations proceeded to change the name of Nature's Avenger Organic Weed Killer to Avenger Weed Killer.  Cutting Edge used this opportunity to expand the complete brand of Avenger Organics to also include Bed Bug Killer, Bug/Insect Killer, Liquid Fertilizer and Granular Fertilizer.

Cutting Edge Formulations is located outside of Atlanta, Georgia, and is currently developing distribution partnerships throughout the United States.
